Craig – Founder & Director
For over 20 years, my career has been driven by a passion for the outdoors and delivering exceptional experiences. I started as an apprentice outdoor instructor at 18, eager to turn my love of adventure into a career — and I haven’t looked back since.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across the UK in a wide range of roles — including adventure travel, outdoor education, and event management — before settling in North Wales to focus on Operations Management, Training & Development, adventure travel, and Event Delivery. This breadth of experience has given me a deep understanding of designing, planning, and executing adventures around the world that are both engaging and safe.
Along the way, I’ve developed extensive expertise in health and safety, creating robust event safety plans that meet the standards of local authorities and leading corporate advisory teams. I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of charities, from local hospices to nationally recognised organisations, helping them deliver safe, successful, and high-impact challenge events.
I am proud to lead Innovate Adventure, sharing our knowledge, passion, and experience to help organisations deliver safe, successful, and high-impact challenge events. My goal is to empower clients to grow their own capabilities, run confident and safe events, and create experiences that inspire participants.
